As the snow falls
Covering our mothers land
Grandfather time takes five
Resting his magical hands
Father of the winds sways
While singing sweet chimes
As silent whispers fill this night

Grandmother sun slips away
So sister moon can shine the way
For this is a special time of year
When all things of this earth

All creatures big and small
Stop to listen to the whispering calls
