Hope Can Win

Silent cries
Echoing the night
A fallen angel
Afraid to take flight

Her wings clipped
By many hands
Her heart ripped
In lies of man

Recorded memories
In depths of her mind
Searching for whispers
Begging to find

Does evil prevail?
Or end
Running from questions
Nowhere to begin

Sweet one
With feathers of life
Only dreaming
For truth of light

Over mountains
She must climb
For hopes
That all will find

Spread them now
Try to see
Just one
Is all she’ll need

Till the day
That all understand
She’ll be damned
To walk this land

Look up

Reach

Join as one
The time
Has
Come

Finding Home

They swirl
Twirl
Searching
So close

The tiniest touch
A flutter
Surpassing
Sonic booms

Together as one
Exploring
Colors of the rainbow
Now dancing in their hearts

To savor
Through eternity

Nannies Scrap Book

Her tender whispers
Her child like curiosity
Always brought me home
Never ending generosity

Apple crisps
Dandelion wine
Chicken dumplings
Ageless mind

Seeing quilts swinging
On the outside lines
A basket full of goodies
No sense of time

Never judging
Always sweet and kind
Pictures of love
On walls to remind

Few words spoken
I’ll always understand
My Nannies
Soft touching hand

A woman overflowing
Endless beauty
Who always had an eye
For a hot little cutie

Mr. Able

He sat quietly
With his smug smile
Cracking whips with his words
Dark windows opened to his soul
Showing how evil his thoughts truly were

He watched with intense heat
In between snarls
Daggers ripped from his eyes
As bellowing laughs
Dripped from his chapped lips

This was a fabulous idea
He chuckled to himself
Mine all mine
As his eyes priced his stolen worth

He married the rich mans daughter
Playing his part well
So she never once question his intentions
Of only wanting the gold

She was consumed in
His mental imagery world
Breathing his impostor smiles
He branded her naive body
As her eyes wore his blinders

Quickly he strip her innocence
As she learned to love the game
Sporting the green
Living the attitude that rose with it

Her father used to question his ability
To run the business
Dollar signs proved his conniving skills
So her fathers smile grew

He didn’t care
Whose feet he trampled
Or whose purse he emptied
As long as his habit was fed

His pacifier
Was richly coated
So many sweet tooth clients
Never had a chance

No one acknowledge
Or even tried to fight his plans
When one did
Those mysteries will never be solved

Other’s turned their heads
Kept their mouths shut
Wearing stupid masks
Screaming when alone

He had so many fooled
Sweet baby face
Chiseled body
Pearly whites hiding his split tongue

He even held a place in the church
A deacon
Whose wisdom was requested
How to keep a happy marriage

Funny thing is
Other happy followers
Didn’t know
His many cheating secrets

Someday
Karma will take her place
And introduce herself
Pulling him in his

Till then
I hope peeps open their eyes
And realize
He’s just a bundle of lies

Untamed Night

Stuck in between
Here
And
One
Thousand dreams

Crashing sparks of shocking blue
Dance across my
Horizon view

Flickers of taper flames
Warm my seaside veins

Time clock is breathing now
I know you’re on your way

No regrets
Touch our souls

Pacing to and fro
My heart aches to know

Unleash me from this flight
Tame this untamed night

Erase these shivers
Reset our minds
Let’s share
Hibernation’s ZZZ’s

Until the dawn sweeps
Sleepy stars

Tucked in your arms
Is where
I wish to be
